Business Research

Our business research services focus on business audits, the best/worst research and analysis technique, Internet and literature research and qualitative and quantitative research to provide the evidence and insights that clients need to support business decisions.

Our services include:

Business Audit

Builds an information profile of a region based on data from the Australian Business Atlas, Australian Bureau of Statistics, existing client data and qualitative information gathered from government and business stakeholders. This identifies and defines the gaps and opportunities facing businesses in the region. These are then prioritised by participating businesses using the best/worst research and analysis technique.

Best/Worst research and analysis technique

We specialise in the use of the best/worst research and analysis technique, which delivers empirical validity from relatively small sample sizes, allowing identification of what activities are going to yield the greatest perceived benefit by your stakeholders.

Internet and literature research

Secondary research sources can provide valuable information and data to inform decision making. We are skilled at getting information that provides clients with a better understanding of their market environment and a clear picture of what the latest trends will mean to their immediate and long term business future. Sources are diverse and include the internet, research and statistical data from government agencies, subscription services, think tanks, blogs and media organisations.

Qualitative and quantitative research

We work in partnership with leading market research firms to design and implement qualitative techniques including focus groups, online focus groups, in depth interviews and stakeholder workshops as well as for quantitative techniques including telephone interviewing, postal and online surveys.
